Zoined provides analytics and dashboard solutions that combine data from over 50 sources, helping retail, restaurant, and wholesale businesses gain real-time visibility into their operations and performance.

The Challenge

Zoined wanted to enable its customers to chat with their data in order to uncover new insights through real-time visual analytics. While the vision was clear, AI architecture was unfamiliar territory for the team.

At the same time, the in-house tech team was stretched thin, balancing technical debt, ongoing product development, and incoming issues from customer support.

Delivery Approach

Softlandia supported Zoined by first auditing their initial AI data analyst bot and then helped evolve it into a scalable foundation. Early in the process, Zoined’s CEO, Sasa Moilanen, shared a clear vision of what the team wanted to build, using an example video as a reference point to align direction.

The work included:

• Assess & advise: Softlandia audited Zoined’s first AI data analyst bot implementation and delivered a detailed report with recommendations covering AI architecture, data access control and security, user experience, evaluation, and optimization.
• Build & evolve: Based on the audit findings, Softlandia provided an Applied AI team to develop the data analyst bot into a proper agentic AI engine, laying the groundwork for a more robust and scalable conversational analytics experience.

Results

As a result, Zoined gained:

• A stronger AI architecture foundation for secure and scalable data interaction
• An agentic AI engine that moves beyond a simple bot toward a more advanced data analyst experience
